1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Planning Wiser, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.

2. Description of Service

Planning Wiser is a personal budgeting and financial planning tool that helps you assign every dollar a purpose, track goals, and manage your wealth.

Important: Planning Wiser is not a financial advisor. The service is for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial advice.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • One account per person

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

  • Use the service only for personal financial planning
  • Not attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service
  • Not use the service for illegal purposes
  • Not share your account with others

5. Transaction Import

You can import transaction history by uploading CSV or OFX files exported from your bank or other financial apps.

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of imported data
  • Imported files are processed and not retained after import
  • We do not access your bank accounts or credentials at any time

6. Subscription & Billing

  • Planning is free. Tracking, imports and the Planning Assistant require a Pro subscription
  • Pro plan: billed monthly or yearly, at the price shown before you pay (taxes included)
  • Billing is recurring until cancelled
  • Cancel anytime — access continues until end of billing period
  • Payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund. See our Refund Policy

7. Cancellation & Termination

  • You can cancel your subscription anytime in settings
  • You can delete your account anytime
  • We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days

8. Intellectual Property

  • Planning Wiser owns all rights to the service, design, and branding
  • You retain ownership of your personal financial data
  • You grant us a license to use your data only to provide the service

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

  • No guarantee of accuracy of financial calculations
  • Not a substitute for professional financial advice
  • Not responsible for decisions made based on the app

10. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Total liability is limited to the amount paid in the past 12 months
  • Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
